Great Product October 20, 2016

The subsoiler arrived quickly and was easy to assemble, exactly as described on the website.  Build quality is good and appears to be very heavy duty.  I have only used this once, and it worked exactly as expected.  If you are looking for a high quality, made in the USA product, look no further.

Pending further review (UPDATE) October 3, 2016
Reviewer: T Loveland from Canajoharie, NY United States
Haven't had a chance to try it out but this is definitely built solid.  Will update the review once I drag it through my heavy clay  and somewhat rocky subsoil.  Bought on the thought of cutting additional drainage paths to the tiling runs in place.  Also have a section that I plan(ned) on tiling but may not need to if this unit does the work.   Clay line is at 9-12" so this should reach down into  and through it.  We will see.
UPDATE:  This thing is a beast.   Slices through the underlying clay with ease as long as I put  tractor in 4WD & lock in the rear.
If you have a heavy clay sub I would not recommend for a smaller tractor.  Anything else you might be okay.
Me... 32HP Yanmar and at full digging depth it takes every bit of Horsepower at times to drag it through the clay layer.   Top 9-12" it slices like hot knife through butter

Subsoiler September 14, 2016

Couldn't believe how stoutly built this thing is for such a great price. It works great. My only complaint is that the assembly / setup instructions could be more clear.
Delivery was super fast too.
Be careful if you have a Cat 1 tractor that this isn't too large!
Thanks guys, I'll be back.

Breaking ground July 8, 2016
Reviewer: Leonard from Cincinnati, OH United States
I just bought a small farm and needed to break ground to prepare for next year.  Clay type soil, hard packed in some places, so I bought this subsoiler to break things up before tilling.  I have a small tractor and didn't know what to expect, but was anxious to try it out.  Took about 10 minutes for me to put together and get mounted on the tractor, and several test runs/adjustments to get it right.  Trouble I started out with was it would not go deep enough.  Once I got the toplink adjusted properly it went full depth and nothing stopped me.  Tractor pulled just fine, hit a couple of rocks but they didn't slow me down.

As another person said, the threads on the lower link pins were a little banged up, and the paint job didn't fair too well in transit (neither did the box!) but no big deal.  I am looking at a couple more pieces of equipment to purchase from EA and looking forward to the same quality and honest advertising again and again!
