Hi. I'm Ted, from Everything Attachments. We're here today with the Bradco
brand of compact pallet forks. This is a universal-fit and that's on this
particular brand because they build the Frontier brand for John Deere. I
cannot buy this
particular set of forks with a John Deere hitch. If you
need a John Deere hitch, then at Construction Attachments, my brother's
company, we can also make that hitch.
These are compact pallet forks rated for 2,200 pounds. They're a standard
Class-2 fork, like on a fork lift that uses a knob back here. You pick up
and they lock in these individual notches firmly. They will not float, they
will not slide. They're a good heavy-duty set of forks. What you want to do
on a small,
compact tractor, the last thing you want is a whole bunch of
weight up here in these forks that reduce your capacities for being able to
pick up. These forks in the specs say they weigh 230 pounds. On our scales,
which are correct, they
weigh 280 pounds. They're not quite as light as the
Construction Attachments forks, but they're not near as heavy as the skid
steer forks. when you're sizing these for a compact tractor, we do have
them in 42 and 48-inch lengths, but I
would keep in mind that because of
when you're turning and they're on the front of your tractor instead of on
a skid steer loader, in most cases, unless you've got a particular reason,
you probably want to stay with a 42-inch fork. Just so
you're not so long
when you're doing your turning and so forth.
Compact pallet forks, if you've got a compact tractor, if you've got them
sitting around, you'll just be amazed as to how much you use them. I've got
a set at my house, and I
lift everything from fertilizer to chlorine for my
pool to take back there. Just, if you got them, you'll use them. Of course
they're plenty good for construction-grade, if you've got enough tractor to
hold them. Remember to keep your
tractor ballasted correctly on the rear
when you're lifting with your pallet forks.
This has got a nice frame on it. It's also got a D-ring here, and that can
be used for pulling things out of a trailer or truck to be able to get to
them, or
to secure your load to keep them on your forks from being able to
tip over. It's a good set of forks. We bought them in volume to be able to
get the price down for you. This is one of the best sets of compact pallet
forks if you need above
an 1,800-pound lifting range.
At Everything Attachments, if you'll give us a call, we'll make sure you're
sizing your forks correctly for your tractor, make sure you're not
overweight or underweight. The one thing you wouldn't want to do is
put
these on a large skid steer, because they are only rated for 2,200 pounds.
Make all your purchases at Everything Attachments, and we'll help make sure
you get the right set of forks for the job you're doing.
