The ARP (pull type) aerators are the ideal attachment for final preparation and reseeding lawns. The heavy 3 x 3/8 inch teeth are welded to a 15 inch drum that can be filled with water. The one inch axle on the drum rotates in greaseable pillar block bearings. The teeth open the soil for lawn or pasture reseeding which allows moisture and air to get to the roots. The penetration to the roots allows quicker water absorption, better fertilizer application and provides loose soil for reseeding. The heavy tube frame is well constructed to give years of dependable service in residential, commercial, and farm application. The aerator is rated for tractors from 20 to 45 horsepower depending on the size of the aerator used. The optional transport wheel kit can be bolted to the frame and then the hitch flipped over in the opposite direction so the wheels will touch the ground. The wheel kit weighs 26 pounds.
