rake does the job well March 23, 2015
Reviewer: Rodney Corl from Troutville, VA United States
Iampleased with the way the rake works. I got it to rake the trash off my asparagus field, and it does a great job. However, I have two complaints. First, as I read in another review, when assembling the rake, the bolt holes were not aligned properly, and I had to drill a couple of them out. Second, the lift pins are at a width that doesn't allow the use of my imatch quick hitch, which was very disappointing to me. Overall though,a good piece of equipment.

72" Pine Straw Rake March 18, 2015

Very well made.  Easy to put together.  Works as advertised.   Could use a basic stand for storage and it would make mounting easier.  Would recommend to others.

3 point pine rake March 11, 2015
Reviewer: Joe Boyd from Unity, OR United States
I received the rake sooner than expected-got great service
It went together perfect-how ever you need to install the 3 point top link bolts threaded end toward the tractor so your top bracket notches fit allowing all your bolt holes to line up. I also wish there was a pipe stand fixture to hold the unit up while it is not in use. I'm going to fabricate this item but would have paid for one if available. Thank you for the great service. Sincerely Joe Boyd

Great Rake, Lacked Some Assemby QA February 15, 2014
Reviewer: Edward Burke from Nashville, GA United States
I was able to assemble the rake in less than an hour.  My issue was that the pre-drilled holes through the main support bar weren't aligned and they couldn't be easly fixed because the two pieces the holes were drilled through were welded.  My solution was to break out the drill and start "fixing" the holes.  I had to drill out about 75% of them to get to a point I could get the bolts in.  Easier/quicker than sending it back.

In use, this rake is awesome.  I was able to rake and groom in a single pass.  I love the size of the rake, though I wish there was a built-in stand for when it's time to come off the tractor.  It's light enough for one person to move.

I know little of the manufacturing process, but EA may be better served to drill the holes after welding.  My shipment was heavily delayed due to a manufacturing delay with this rake, yet it was still out of alignment when received.  Without this issue, it's is a 5-star rake.  Great design, EA, just work the alignment!

Pine needle rake February 26, 2013
Reviewer: Bob Markwell from Socorro, NM United States
I recieved it undamaged, assembled it easily and had it attached to my small JD in about an hours time. I bought it to rake leaves and tree debris from my property. It takes several passes to do a good job on gramma/buffalo grass but only one on less vegitated soil. I'll update this in a couple of mos. after using it more. Looks like its a 'keeper'
