GREAT PRODUCT, EASY TO ASSEMBLE.  REALLY WORKS GOOD ON PINE STRAW, LEAVES AND SMALL LIMBS.  DOESN'T DAMAGE YOUR GRASS LIKE A LANDSCAPING RAKE.

Quality Product - Substandard Service May 19, 2015
Reviewer: Ed from Mid-Coast, ME United States
I called EA to order a Rake to ensure timing of delivery. Called on a Wednesday, was told at the  order would go out Monday.  After a week it didn't show up.Inquired as to the status, was told that EA had run out of tines, but were receiving more that week. The rake would be shipped by week's end. Still no rake. Contacted EA again and was told 500 of 5,000 tines had arrived. They were waiting for rest. Tines would have to be painted. Finally shipped, not all tines were included and I would receive those tines next day after the order arrived. All companies run out of materials and experience delays; however, when a commitment is made there should be follow-up. The credit card  securing the rake was debited immediately. EA had the use of the money, weeks before I received the rake. Better customer contact would help. When an order is delayed, there must be customer follow-up. The company sells terrific products and could enhance its sales with candid contact with customers.

ETA Response:  Due to the high demand of our Pine Needle Rakes this spring, we ran out of tines and several orders were delayed.  The salesman was apparently unaware of the shortage of tines and the miscommunication was unfortunate and atypical.  A live representative is always a phone call away(no automated system during business hours) and ready to help if any questions or issues arise before, during or after the sale.

I am sorry for your experience, we definitely try not to make this a habit. We do try to reconnect with our customers when we have a problem, apparently we just messed up this time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Pine Straw Rake April 13, 2015
Reviewer: JW Aiken from Goldsboro, NC United States
I like the pine straw rake. I only had one issue - the three tines on each end that are longer to shorter were all correct except one.

I had one tine that was a longer length than the others

One other thought would be to incorporate some clips to hold the tines in place while you attch the long plate that covers them as the final step of installation - it was very hard to put that plate in with the tines popping up - I had to use C-clamps to get it completed

Overall satisfied and think this will be a good leaf rake for my tractor

Thanks

rake does the job well March 23, 2015
Reviewer: Rodney Corl from Troutville, VA United States
Iampleased with the way the rake works. I got it to rake the trash off my asparagus field, and it does a great job. However, I have two complaints. First, as I read in another review, when assembling the rake, the bolt holes were not aligned properly, and I had to drill a couple of them out. Second, the lift pins are at a width that doesn't allow the use of my imatch quick hitch, which was very disappointing to me. Overall though,a good piece of equipment.
