Description

Loading operations are improved dramatically by adding our four in one to a small tractor loader simply through the ability to bottom dump the bucket. The loaders are designed to keep loads as close to the center of gravity of the tractor as possible for safety and stability and as a side effect are often unable to turn over and dump a standard general purpose bucket into a truck or trailer with high sides. With a Construction Attachments 4 in 1, if you can reach over the side you can load it by simply using the bottom dump. The four in one has a welded cutting edge on the rear of the bucket clam that allows the bucket to be opened and used much like a box blade for back dragging operations. In this position the bottom clam can be used for close quarters back filling or with an almost 20” opening the clam can be tilted out of the way and the reinforced dozer back can be used for backfilling or scraping. There is a matching welded cutting edge on the dozer back to insure long life for these operations from pushing gravel to removing snow.

Just like the skid steer four in ones and our larger loader backhoe/ wheel loader models the compact four in one is constructed of A572 grade steel throughout the fabricated components with 1065 welded steel cutting edges. Bolt on digging teeth are optional, as well as, an optional 1085 steel bolt on reversible cutting edge for the front clam blade. The clam sides are reinforced front and back with plasma cut side cutters to the front and doubler plates to the rear to compliment the ¼” clam sides. The clam bottom is of bent 3/16” material in 2 pieces designed to reinforce one another in opposing operations with a welded ½” X 4” cutting edge in the front and a welded 3/8”x 3” cutting edge in the rear. The dozer blade is precision step broken to a radius moldboard with 1/4” sideplates and 3/8” plasma cut dozer reinforcements. The dozer sides are also doubled at the clam point for long jaw life and no flex when using the clam to pick items up.

The clam mechanism itself is designed to pull short items in toward the center of the dozerback so that material isn’t pulled back toward the tractor wheels when clamped. The dozerback is further reinforced across the entire top with 2”x2”x1/4” box tubing and a broken out 3/16” lower reinforcement bar at the bottom. The clam pivots using a heavy fabricated hinge on 1” 1045 cold rolled pins with easily accessed grease zerks for bucket pivots as well as the 1” cylinder pivot pins. The bucket comes standard with an extreme duty universal quick attach hitch, but can be fitted with any pin on hitch required that is applicable to the frame, as well as, any ag style hook hitch that is appropriate for the bucket frame.

A Construction Attachments ONE TOUCH KIT may be required for compact tractors without an auxiliary control on the loader valve.
