Description

Zero Turn Mower Safety - Tedbrakes are the revolutionary front braking system invented by Everything Attachments Owner Ted Corriher. These front brakes are designed with safety and productivity in mind.

If you have ever found yourself sliding out of control down a slope . . . Front Brakes are the Answer! With 30 - 50 fatalities every year from roll over and drowning deaths on ZTR mowers (not including serious injuries), isn't your life worth a set of Tedbrakes?

Purchase Requirements -
Front Disc Braking Systems are available for purchase on NEW Lightning, AOS and AOS Diesels only.
A waiver of product liability concerning the front braking system will be required.

No warranty will be available for the brake system or brake system components will be offered at this time.

Factory Warranty on front mower spindles will be void due to modification. There is a .o75 inch. hole (about the size of a pencil lead) gun drilled from the top to the bottom of the spindles for brake fluid transfer.

I have put as much abuse in the testing of this system as I could without having a failure of the spindles due to this modification. I will be using the hydraulic swivels at the top of the spindles that you see in the pictures, but it will be shielded with a protective cover to prevent damage, and to prevent water entering the bearings.

We will be using Parker Hydraulic Hoses and fittings, not the stainless steel braided hoses that you see (unless you request them for an extra $50) as these were good for looks only.

Important Note: We are in no way promoting that anyone should ever mow above or beyond the recommended limits of the manufacturer of the zero turn mower, with or without the front brakes.
