United Deluxe HD Tractor Box Blade

The United Deluxe Heavy Duty Category II Tractor box blade has a welded 3 post A-frame with a clevis hitch. This clevis style hitch (with Pins) helps to keep the tractor lift arms from coming loose when doing heavy work. The A-frame has a center back brace to control back filling. The hitch is Category II for larger compacts and full size tractors using this larger pin size.

Technical Specifications:

The back and end plates are 2" taller and thicker to handle a bigger load. The height adjustable 3 hole ripping shanks (scarifiers) with replaceable tips, can be lowered to tear up the ground while the back of the box is raised by shortening the top link to allow the material to flow out under the back cutting edge. Then the back can be lowered to provide a smooth level finished area. This box is a good heavy duty box to handle farm or construction work requirements. The front and rear 1/2" x 6" Beveled, Hardened Steel Cutting edges are Reversible and Replaceable.

Though the description here is helpful, there is a fine point about the
3-pt hitch category... This blade actually has Cat I dimensions (lower
link arm spacing 26", upper pin Cat I diameter) with Cat II diameter
lower pins. Note that the lower link arm spacing is not 32" Cat II:

Pulling this blade with an IH 560 D, fast hitch converted to 3-pt. In
this setup, there is not slack in the lower arms to accommodate both 26"
and 32" spacing, so you are set up for one or the other... Just a word
of advice to check your hitch beforehand.

Otherwise, this blade has done a good job for me so far, the 7' size is
a good match to the 560 and covers the wheel tracks. Using it to blade
a long gravel drive, including a significant grade.
