W.R. Long Snow Push

Hi, I'm Ted from Everything Attachments. We're here today with the W R Long brand of snow push. This comes from a 60 inch. If you had a small, compact tractor, all the way to a seven foot, it would work up to about a 50 horsepower tractor loader. It can come with multiple hitches on the back of it; this one has a standard universal skid steer hitch. We'll turn it around and show you the back in a minute, and we're going to point out some of the good things about this.

The particular runners that are going to take all the abrasion from the asphalt or cement that you're pushing on is true cutting edge material, so it's going to wear slow. They are adjustable and they are replaceable. Your main cutting edge, here, is made of a one inch thick piece of rubber that can be reversed and lowered with these slots as it wears. If you have brick pavers or don't want you asphalt or cement scratched up a lot, that rubber is going to keep that from happening. You just keep lowering it as it wears. You just loosed each bolt on this girdle and slide the rubber down. You can reverse it as you get it further worn down.

It has a nice support here to keep the sides from spreading out, and then we're going to turn around and show you the back of it. You can see here on the sides where it is fully adjustable and has the slots. It's also braced. When you get to the back, this is a standard skid steer hitch. It has a lot of bracing here on the side to spread out the load. If you have a tractor that doesn't have a skid steer hitch and have a pin-on mounts, most pin-on mounts can be done by W R Long. They have more drawings than anybody I know to make a four-pin connection. You can pretty much have anything done that you like on this, and being that it comes from 60 inches, where you could do sidewalks and so forth for the cities with the small tractors, up to seven feet with about a 50 horsepower tractor, this is going to make your snow pushing really good.
