Hi, I'm Ted from Everything Attachments and we're here today with the McMillen X2475. This is an extreme duty auger. This auger drive has over 3,500 pounds of torque, and can turn up to a 36 inch auger bit. This is a 24 inch auger bit. This is a hex drive, so you have your six sides here that do all of the turning work and the pin is just keeping the bit from falling off and pulling it back out of the hole.
We do also offer the two and 9/16 round drives. The only thing I don't like about those is the pull, the turn is done here at the pin instead of the six sides doing the work. But we do have both.
This is the largest of the high torque augers without being a two-speed. It takes 20 to 35 gallons per minute to run this unit, so it'll work on any of the large track machines like this or any of the fairly good size late model machines. We're going to show you how the cradle here right now. It's in the dig position, which would like this bit hang plumb and give you a good straight hole. Then we're going to show you how this cradle back here for transportation is really important.
So Peanut go ahead and tilt it up and then lower it like you would be carrying it. Now, you can carry this bit without having to leave your boon so high and you can see where you're going, and I love their hose saver kit here where you can keep your hoses protected and not get them pinched in there. Then when you do tilt it all the way down it lets it just spring over and lets the hoses do the work.
This is the X2475. Make all your purchases at Everything Attachments. Give us a call or an email and we'll help size the right machine, the right auger drive for your machine, because getting the gallons per minute and the torque for what you're going to be doing and the RPM speed is important for getting the job done the quickest.
