Hi, I'm Ted from Everything Attachments, and we're here with the King Kutter Arena Renovator. So we get calls all the time to use different things to refinish the arenas for horses, and the people that really barrel race and do things that really pack their ground need a device that's really built for what they're doing.
Of course, this would work on any arena and leave a really nice look. We also sell a lot of pulverizers and some different drag hares [sp] and stuff that people use, but this was specifically designed for an arena instead of using a tool that just kind of works. So the front of this has a type of Danish tine element. It bolts solid to this square tube here and then it's all spring and just wraps around and comes down.
So it gives pretty easy. It's not real aggressive, and that's what you'd want in a horse arena. You wouldn't want to get really deep and loosen the whole thing up. And then right here, you're not going to be able to see it from this, but we'll show you a picture of it. On the bottom side of this is a hardened reversible cutting edge like on the back of a box blade which is curved. And it's built with the curve up so when you let this down to basically gauge how deep you're going with your Danish tines, then you have a good wearing surface.
You can also reverse it. Just like a standard cutting edge it's bolted on. So you've got a cutting edge right here. You've got a turnbuckle right here to do your adjusting. You also have some general settings here. So you want to be able to use that as kind of like a gauge wheel that's going to slide behind these Danish tines and break up any of the clods, anything that it might have brought up and just kind of give it that smooth, level look.
And then it has a wheel that is slats of steel, bar steel, that are running on just a little bit of an angle. You also have an adjustment for that, and that's going to leave a print in your ground so you've got a nice look to it. So first the tines are going to rough it up and get the hard places out. The cutting edge that goes down that is adjustable is going to level it out and break that up and smooth it out.
And then it's going to more like a sandy-ish broken up type of ground, and then this is going to leave a nice trim and level out behind it. So it's got about three different ways you can adjust it. This is category one or category two quick hitch. We just started using our Speeco quick hitches and even since we put it on we've been using it for all of our attachments. It seems to be really convenient.
It's hooked to a little CT-122 Bobcat. We just used that to move it in here. That is a smaller tractor than we would ever use to pull this with. I'm just going to guess you're going to need about a good size 30 or 35 horsepower tractor or larger to pull it through for your arena.
