Hi. I'm Ted from Everything Attachments and we're here today with the Construction Attachments brand of 4-in-1 buckets. When you talk about a 4-
in-1 for a skid steer this is the heaviest, best built bucket on the market. This is the severe, extreme duty really meant for the new tract machines. As the horsepower gets bigger, the weight gets bigger, machines are getting stronger. This is developed completely to be able to take the severe abuse that a tract machine can give out.
If you happen to have a Takeuchi or a Gehl machine that is a Takeuchi then we do a special hitch height on the back to get you a grade at level bucket. Those two machines which is basically a Takeuchi do use a different height for their hitch plate. So just make sure that you remind us of that if that's what you're getting the machine for.
This uses a six inch by three quarter inch cutting edge with holes drilled in it. So you have the option of bolt-on teeth of two different styles. You have the option of a bolt-on tooth bar. You have the option of the bolt-on reversible edge which will be eight inches wide on the bottom of this to keep from wearing. Like if you're scraping mud off asphalt or doing a lot of snow removal you can do that.
We also have a welded-on tooth option. If you do the welded-on tooth option which is a great option to just do a lot of grading and digging you will eliminate yourself from being able to do these other bolt-on options because you will not have the holes in your bottom edge. You will have teeth welded there.
This bottom here is double plated. It has a cutting edge in the back of it. And has a bolted-on cutting edge in the back of the dozer part. We're going to crank up this machine, we're going to open up this clam, and I'm going to show you kind of how you would use it in reverse doing a back drag. Go ahead and open it up, Peanut, to its full height so you can see how much opening it's got.
So this bucket is designed to have a lot of opening and to be able to be used for multiple things. So it'll open plenty far enough to use the total dozer ability. You've got a lot of distance between here to be able to grab large objects. Which normally you would roll the bucket down over and then pinch them like a clam. And then the other way is, raise it up Peanut and then roll it down. Raise it up. Raise it up. Just set it down right there. All right. That's good.
In this position right here you're going to be using this back edge and like if you wanted to take the crown out of a road which would be bowed in the center it's going to start gathering the material as it back drags and then filter over the front of this edge. And it kind of works like a box blade. So this bucket has a lot of different potentials that you could do with it. The more you use it, the more you'll know how to use it.
The back of this bucket is pretty square. Even though the front of this is tapered and round the back side of this is square so you can still back drag well with this bucket. All of the lines and everything are hidden from the back side and we'll show you. If you notice this has a real nice casted hinge in the side of it. And that high nickel cast hinge there eliminates weight and makes it extra strong. They've got side pieces welded on here so you crimp loaves and do your grappling and so forth with your 4-in-1 bucket.
From that angle I hope you can see that this hitch plate has been widened way out from where the pad is. It's going to touch from your machine. And that's just to spread the load on this bucket. These tract machines get near 10,000 pounds or just getting so much push power that all this steel in here has to be so thick and so good quality that they're just spreading out the weight here so the push doesn't buckle this bucket or bend it in any way.
When you close the jaws on this bucket they're always good and tight. You won't find variations like you will on a cheaper bucket. They've hidden all the lines behind the hitch plate to get out of the way of the main hitch here. They will come with flat face couplers, hoses and couplers. If you need a different size for your machine just let us know and we'll get you the right ones.
So this bucket comes in a lot of different sizes. It comes in a 67, a 73, a 76, an 80, and an 84 because the tract machines are varying so much. So give us a call or an email and we'll make sure that you get the right width of bucket for what you're doing. And if you happen to have a Takeuchi machine make sure you let us know so we can get your hitch plate at the right height.
