Hi, I'm Ted from Everything Attachments. We're here today with the heavy duty version of the skid-steer boom pole. Now, this particular boom pole, we're added this half-inch strap all the way across the top. We've thickened up some of the metals on it, and this new boom pole has a rating, a safety rating of 1500 pounds. It has been tested on a tractor machine up to 3000 pounds. So, that's not what it's rated to use it for, but it has been rated at a two-to-one safety rating of 1500 pounds.
On the back, it has the standard skit steer hookup. There's been extra gussets that's welded here to the main here to the main beam here to give your hitch extra strength. It may be look like a boom pole, but it's a heavy one. Now, this is the open hook design. It also comes in a close-loop design and a tree boom. A tree boom will be a little bit shorter and have a hook on it. So, when you raise it up, it keeps the ball away from the machine.
This is the open-hook model, and this would be a great type for the nylon bags that have the five hoops at the top and you need to be able to hook them real quick and carry them, and for the nurseries like them to hook some of their big balls. But if you're going to use a chain, and you're going to go across areas where you might be bouncing, be sure you get the closed hoop instead of the open hoop so it can't bounce out of your hook up there. Now, that's a three-quarter inch piece there, excuse me that's a one-
inch piece of steel that's been burned out completely and then put back inside of the main channel here.
So, remember this is the heavy duty, rated safely at 1500 pounds, and tested at 3000. So, if you give us a call or email at Everything Attachments, we'll be happy to help make sure that you get the right hook or the hook up that you need for your machine.
