EA Pine Needle Rake Pine Straw Rake 60" This rake is not to difficult to assemble as it seems, assembles best with a small impact driver. It picks up pine needle very well and rolls them into a pile. Dethaches the ground you use it on also. Recommend it if you have pine trees.

This rake rolls up pine needles like a carpet as others have said. It also works fairly well for brush, depending on what you have. Works well for leaves, but you'll hit capacity under the tines quickly.

Product quality is very good. Paint and shipping/packing quality is not. I understand this is a tractor implement that will get beat up, but when you pay nearly double competing products for American made quality, you don't expect the product to show up looking like it's used, with missing paint and surface rust on the tines. Every sealed air packet was popped...not sure how they thought those would stand up to a 95lb. piece of steel in a cardboard box. I don't know why it wasn't just wrapped heavily in bubble wrap and taped. Mine also had tons of paint drips.

Again, it's a tractor implement that will get beat up anyway, and you are paying more for the quality of the steel, welds, and tines - which are top notch. But the finish and packing quality leave a lot to be desired.

5 of 5 Excellent Attachment May 20, 2020

I used the rake to clean up my 2-acre property after a tornado hit and there were sticks everywhere.  It was surprisingly good at catching matted down leaves from the Fall in addition to the sticks.  It would have taken me days to do what took hours with this rake.

Assembly was straight forward and took about an hour.

I appreciate the shipping.  Breaking it down into 2 boxes meant it could be delivered directly to my home address.

My only minor complaint is the finish had already had some paint come off and start to rust.  That's gonna happen anyway, but it was disappointing to have it arrive that way.

4 of 5 Great rake (5 footer)! easy to asseble and use May 20, 2020

Checked local shops and Denver for something to clear years of pine needle accumulation, most had landscape rakes... they tear the ground.  Found this rake on line after talking with EA folks.  Easy to assemble - the 16 bolts for fastening the tine-holding "u-channel bar" not included, got those from a local store. Pleasantly surprised how well the rake worked.  I'll be providing the EA name to my local tractor shop...might have some referrals to EA, tons of folks with small tractors & pine needle remediation needs.  Big plus: steel assembly is all USA.  The cost difference is worth it...keep the money is the US.   Only strike was the 16 bolts I had to buy.  for the rake price, they could be included.  EA RESPONSE:  All bolts are included.  Shipping dept could have missed them by accident or they could've fell out of the box.  If contacted, EA would have sent the bolts out immediately, with no questions asked.  Thanks the the business and for recommending EA!!!
