The unit itself is exceptional. It is HEAVY DUTY. I can really do some work when mounted to my JD 5085M with it. I’m very happy with that. The only complaint is QC. One of the hitch mounts works perfectly. Pin slips in/out like butter. The other is mis-aligned and had to be pounded in and out even when not mounted to the hitch. Whomever mounted the pin at the factory had to have been aware but let it ship that way. I find that very disconcerting, especially since I was considering a grapple also, but I’m a bit leery that this can happen again. It’s not like this thing can be easily returned for repair. If it was an issue between the tractor and the implement, I would understand (and not mind doing some fitting), but this is solely an alignment issue with the implement itself. I should not have to correct someone else’s error. EA Response: All of our products have a 1 year warranty, which covers defects in material/craftsmanship. We do employ humans which do make mistakes from time to time, even though we try to keep them at a minimum. It could have also been bumped in transit, which is also covered. We have not heard from the customer concerning the issue nor have we had an issue with others, but he will be contacted and offered assistance.
