I love the design, the geometry, the weight, and the quality of the materials used. It makes me warm and fuzzy inside to see a small American company succeed at manufacturing USA made products! I haven’t went full bore Ted yet, but I did channel some of my inner Ted and the grapple held without an issue! I’ve taken out trees, ripped off branches, bulldozed brush & briars, ripped out vines, raked up hay, used the lid to rake backwards, etc. The uses are endless. When it closes, it closes TIGHT. The length and design of the lower teeth really lends itself well to raking up debris, small brush, and roots - and the lid closes down on that raked-up-pile perfectly. There was a long lead time but they are working hard to bring those down, and they have. Overall, I couldn’t be more happy with the Wicked 66 and the crew over at EA. If you’re looking for the last root rake clamshell-style Grapple you’ll ever need, this the one!
