These auger bits are the same ones that come with the purchase of our line of 3 point post hole diggers.With a replaceable spiral tip, and bolt on teeth, good heavy flighting, welded well and a collar top, this is a great offering.

These augers fit a 2" round output shaft and have 3/16" flighting

I am 64 years old, and I have used tractor implements all my life. I bought the Digger and the 18- and 12-inch augers a couple of years ago. I was amazed at the quality and beefiness of these tools. You can tell these folks and their employees put a lot of pride into their implements. I recently broke my old TSC 6 inch Auger and considered going back to TSC and getting another one. I decided I was too old to keep making mistakes. I decided to order from EA so my daughter and grandson would have it in years to come. I use mine for everything post holes, animal burial, Tomato plant holes, trees ETC. Thanks for the quality Implements. OH the most important thing a human will actually answer their phone.

3 of 5 Auger bit made in America? Chinese quality November 29, 2022

1) Something I've experienced in ordering from Mexico and China:  Dimensions are accurate but are not practical.  Your 48" auger is actually about 47" but all the way to the tip - which is 8 inches past the teeth ie the bottom of the hole.  Don't count on digging a 48" deep hole.  That should be clarified.
2)Flighting is not fully welded to center pipe!  Unbelievable.  You should take "heavy duty" off your description.  When I shopped locally in Ontario, I couldn't actually find a bit that was NOT fully welded.  It was expected.  EA RESPONSE:  We have used these augers for many years.  The performance and quality has been great and very well received.  Thanks for the business.
