Fertilizer Spreader SP-180 Wednesday, May 31, 2023 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from St Charles, MI United States   Overall I like the product, it is well made, and has saved me a lot of time and effort so far. Knowing what I know now, and compared to the competition, I would buy it again. I think there is a shortcoming in the design of the device that allows the feed rate to be preset. This is done by putting stops at predetermined places as the feed lever is opened. I was able to get a pretty accurate rate on one of the items I spread, but on another, one setting did not allow enough material to spread, the next setting allowed way too much to be fed. I don't know the solution, but it might be nice if the setting was based on how high the feed doors are raised. With a ruler to set the height, and a way to put some type of clamp stop on the lever, perhaps feed rates could be more finely tuned. Just a thought. Was this review helpful to you?

ready for snow Sunday, September 5, 2021 Reviewer: GILBERT from WILTON, NH United States   Ordered along with the salt spreading control kit.  It came with the wrong kit, (seeding). Called and within hours had a return for the kit setup. The correct kit arrived a couple of days later.  Installed everything and hooked up to tractor just to do a dry run before winter, worked great.  Talked with Rusty and Trace, both were good and made sure all was well. Spreader Monday, May 17, 2021 Reviewer: Peter Palumbo from AUBURN, KY United States   A good price, but whoever assembled the agitator gouged and scratched the paint at the bottom of the metal cone. When I brought this to the company’s attention, they said paint in that area was going to eventually rub off near there anyway. I was expecting a can of touch up spray paint or other compensation instead of an excuse. They may be right, but when you buy something new you don’t want to start off behind on maintenance and playing catch up before you even use it. Was this review helpful to you?

Excellent American Built Product Sunday, May 2, 2021 Reviewer: A Roden from Waterford, VA United States   I purchased this spreader as a long term investment, thus wanted something with the quality to go the distance. I was pleased with the quality, the use of heavy steel and stainless where needed. I’m glad to have purchased an American built product from North Carolina. I’ll be back for more! best money ever spent Tuesday, October 15, 2019 Reviewer: south-texas toad from south texas   Purchased XA150, some of the best money I’ve ever spent.  Runs smooth as butter, was grinning the whole time I was using it.  The only minor complaint is that the nuts on broadcaster pan blades need lock washers, but no big deal.  Product arrived quickly and without any damage.
