Perfect Friday, October 8, 2021 Reviewer: Dave Mazzola from Boyertown, PA United States   The spreader was delivered quickly to the freight terminal and pick-up was easy. I greased the bearing prior to use because it didn't look like it was greased and made a minor adjustment on the shutters. The spreader is well built and performs perfectly. I used it to spread pelletized lime and fertilizer. It holds a lot of product and it covers a large area at one time. If it's cleaned after every use and maintained, this should last me a lifetime. QDMA Club Purchase Monday, June 3, 2019 Reviewer: Chuck Ainsworth from Fort Fairfield, ME United States   This spreader was purchased by our QDMA branch for use by the members.  It is used to spread lime and fertilizer by countless people. It is easy to use and simple to clean. We called and added an agitator which really helped with the pelletized lime. Was this review helpful to you?

Agrex XL500 fertilizer spreader Tuesday, March 7, 2017 Reviewer: Tony Frawley from McRae Georgia   The spreader works very well. I have used it to spread a couple of tons of pelletized lime, and I am pleased with it. I gave it 4 stars because of a few issues with the delivery. After I picked it up at the FedEx freight depot I found that the PTO drive shaft had been left out of the shipment, and there were six spinner disks included instead. Called the company and they said it was a mistake. They immediately sent me a drive shaft by FedEx to my house, and a return label for the spinners, so that was good. Also, the shipment did not include the pin for the top link, or the cotter pins for the top link or bottom links. I had to borrow these from another implement, and I will later have to buy some for the spreader. This is the first tractor implement I have bought that did not come with all needed pins.
