Phoenix M72-S Tractor Finish Mower 72, Rear Discharge

The Phoenix Line of rear discharge finish mowers, grooming mowers, turns your tractor into a mowing machine. This unit has a 6' cutting width with 11" diameter solid tires. These mowing machines feature three overlapping blades with specially designed baffles for a clean cut.

The anti scalping roller is normally not needed for 60" and 72" mowers, due to the great design of off set wheels, unless your yard has crowns.

Standard features include: Solid tires on heavy duty wheels with grease-able roller bearings, Series 4 PTO shaft by Eurocardan, Adjustable lower links with floating or fixed positions, Front anti scalping roller on 84" models (Available Option on other models) as shown in photograph, Floating top hitch for smooth terrain tracking. *Now featuring sealed, no maintenance deck spindles.

Heavy duty and quiet oil filled gearboxes with precision heat treated gears mean more power for your horsepower dollar. Floating 3 pt. hitches with adjustable lower links allow the mower to closely follow ground contours resulting in a more consistent and professional cut. Cutting height adjustment is quick and easy thanks to simple to change spacer bushings. All lubrication points are easily accessible without removing belt shields. Shields are removable in seconds for belt adjustment and routine maintenance. Anti-scalping rollers are standard on M84 models and are available on all other models on request.

My Bush Hog rotary cutter was butchering my fields, so I bought this very nice finish mower, my third or fourth purchase from EA.  Once again, super happy.  I wish it the cutting height were 6 inches (I'm a no-till proponent); otherwise, very super nice mower!!!

Does a great job.  Mowed about 2 acres of a clover field in a little over an hour.  Works perfectly.

Was missing the gearbox oil plug but Everything Attachments sent it out priority mail and I received it the next day.

Great Customer Service.  Thanks EA.

5 of 5 Mower works great June 8, 2020
Reviewer: Todd Dudley from Barrington, NH United States
I am very happy with the 72 inch finish mower, does a very nice job and runs smooth. There was more assembly than the video showed and instructions were incomplete but no big deal. I did question if I had the correct belts and Rick confirmed I did, they are very tight when installed. I started the belt on the outside blade pulley and used the blade to rotate the pulley to get the belt to snap into the groove. Tractor not connected at the time!!!

Phone support/ordering was great and they were correct about quality of product. Only issue was putting the belts on. The key was to “roll the belts onto the pulleys” because they were very tight. The phone support called the company and then told me what to do.
