A Tractor Post Hole Digger may be used in agriculture or animal farming for digging post holes. These Post Hole Diggers are sometimes called Augers. Everything Attachments Tractor Post Hole Diggers are attached to a tractor 3 point hitch with power to the gear box provided by the tractor's PTO shaft. All of our tractor augers are grade 3, shear bolt protected in case you hit a rock. This means that instead of damaging the PTO or gear box should you hit something with your tractor auger, it will simply shear a bolt that can be easily replaced in a couple minutes as opposed to breaking something major. You should not shear the bolt unless you are in very difficult ground conditions. The arch that attaches to your lift arms is adjustable so that you can easily adjust the angle and height of the total lifting boom for the size of tractor that you are mounting the Post Hole Digger on. We stock a large selection of auger bits for you post hole digger. Sizes range from 4 inch auger diameters to 12 inch auger sizes for use with the L7200, L7200JR & L7300 Tractor Post Hole Diggers. The L8000 and L9000 models can use Augers up to 24 inches for tree planting. The L7200, L7200JR and L7300 Tractor Post Hole Diggers, because of the weight and size are able to be sent out via UPS to your house! This means that you will not have to have the L7200, L7200JR or the L7300 shipped to a business with a loading dock or to a terminal. We accomplish this by shipping these as three pieces with you will have to reassemble (takes around thirty minutes). The Tractor Auger gearbox will come as one piece with all the sheilds. The Auger Bit will be banded with the arch that connects to the 3pt. hitch drawbar arms. The PTO Shaft will be banded to the main boom. To reassemble you will need an adjustable wrench, and a pair of pliers. These do ship with the OIL ALREADY IN THE GEARBOX. Just assemble and attach these tractor augers to your 3 point hitch and go!
