Ted: Hi, I'm Ted from Everything Attachments and we're here today with another new implement out of our own factory. This is our Deluxe Angle Iron Frame, every piece of this is cut on our new laser and there are some unique things that we are able to do with our laser that we can't do with any of the old type machinery. For instance this plate has a place that it fits in to these sides and then we weld it from the sides instead of having to weld it from the inside. If you notice there is no welding on this side of the angle iron and that's because there are holes through the angle iron in the front side and the top where these pieces just fit into it. It sticks through the back three eighths of an inch and then the welding is done from the other side to make it even stronger and to make it easier and quick to build. So all four of the angles on the top have a quarter inch hole in them where everything has to line up so it makes everything square and keeps everything on the right angle. Now this was our first prototype.
We're in a hurry to go to the show in Moultrie, Georgia. We're leaving today actually and this is our first prototype. It's the only disc we didn't have time to perfect. It usually takes a couple of pieces as we make changes, every time we change something it changes something else. This is one of the things we didn't get exactly right, but it will be changed before you get the model that's sold. We extended these hitches out to bring it back a little bit because I know with the previous disc carriers we sell there's a big sign right here that says not responsible for cut tires on your tractor. So we moved this out to move the discs back a couple of inches and then we moved the whole gangs we made this tubing on the front part two inches longer to move the gangs back two more inches, giving you at least four more inches. We didn't think about it widening as we made this longer and moved these back it widened the hole here between the front disc. They should almost be touching. They're preset at a 21 degrees, that's the maximum angle for about any disc. The fronts and backs are set the same at 21 degrees, when you get the ones that we'll be selling those discs will be almost touching.
So they'll be right. It is quick attach ready for a Category 1 with your first hole top link for your second hole if that's what you want to use. This is a welded rigid hitch and has two welded bars that go back to the back. Turn this around to the side Peanut. As you can see there's no weld around that but there's plenty on the back of both sides so that's giving you even more strength. All of these edges go all of the way to the corners everything is cut on a C.N.C. Laser so everything fits perfectly. The bolts and everything that come through, we're using carriage bolts with square cut areas so it's easier for us to put together. We're using formed hangers which make it stronger. We bend all of this so this was one sheet of steel, we form it into our own angle iron the slots are cut into it, its welded back together, it even has a gusset underneath there and then it has another formed piece that goes across where all the welds are done to add extra strength to it. Come around to the back. On this particular frame, you could get it with sixteen disc or twenty disc.
This is a one inch axle when it's forged. The axle here, like that's an inch and a quarter, the inside is one inch, it has a large casted cap so it gives you the most strength. A lot of people just use a square bar and weld a cup on the end of it, thread the other end of it. It's a lot cheaper but it's not near as strong. What's unique about this disc is just every piece of it is formed and made on a C.N.C. machine. There's nothing that's been done on an old timey iron work or something like that. So you're getting a real state of the art quality by design from Everything Attachments. You're getting it without a dealer, you're getting it without a rep, a distributor, and you're getting more for our money because we are sending it directly to you. We don't sell to dealers. Any dealer can purchase from us but they will be purchasing at the same price you are. So at Everything Attachments you have so many disc combinations that you are going to be offered. Please give us a call or an email. We'll be happy to help you. We do have the notch disc or the smooth disc available.
We can put eighteen inch discs on this or twenty inch discs on it. We could put sixteens if you wanted it. Pretty much whatever you want, one way or another, with the four frame designs that we have, we've got it available to you. The one thing that's rarely on an angle iron disk of any kind would be the greased roller bearings instead of the friction bearings. Friction bearings are basically just a piece of cast iron that has several ridges on it and two caps and then you fill it full of grease and it's a lot better than nothing but there's still a lot of friction going on, harder to pull, lasts not near as long as a sealed roller bearing and so we've chosen to use the sealed roller bearings on all of our discs. So we want to keep the quality right for you at Everything Attachments, give us a call or an email, we'd be happy to size the disc and get the right type of disc for your application.
