There are cheaper options available but that is exactly what they are...cheap. Worth it to pay a little extra for a superior American made product. I also greatly appreciate all of the work that goes into the detailed videos and testimonials that aid in decision making.

5 of 5 Sturdy and very useful December 16, 2022

The rake was a little tough to put together alone but it seems solidly built. It is great for pine straw, leaves, small branches, twigs, etc.

5 of 5 Robust Rake November 18, 2022
Reviewer: David from Pinetown, NC United States
The rake is well built...some assembly required. The assembly video was helpful. All except three of the bolt holes (near the center) lined up...but those three required assistance from my drill....just a little. I have used the rake with a quick Hitch (QH-15) and without the Quick Hitch. It works with both...but I think the added weight from the Quick Hitch made the rake a little too heavy for some yard areas with thin grass cover. That said, the rake definitely collected the pine straw, the leaves, the twigs and branches, and in some areas a little moss and dirt. My concern before using the rake was whether the tines would actually gather the pine needles and leaves or not...it performed nicely...so I did not need to be concerned about that. The parts were packaged in two heavy duty corrugated cartons with plenty of paper stuffing to minimize movement during transit...packaged to survive being shipped by UPS, Fed-ex, or common carrier.

4 of 5 Leaves and Pine Needles November 1, 2022
Reviewer: Barry Jones from GA, United States
This rake does a phenomenal job on leaves and pine needles, which get nearly a foot deep around my house in the fall.
A couple complaints on this one... 1) The lower portion of the vertical brace was severely warped from welding. 2) The two bolts that attach the rake to the vertical brace MUST be modified (thinned) for ease of assembly, otherwise, it is a nightmare to align the tine bar bolt holes. When modified, it nearly puts itself together.
In the end, I felt like I bought a Chinese product due to poor execution of "fit".  EA RESPONSE:  We will request pics/more info about this.  As the customer says, alignment is key, so it is best to get it aligned on both ends, prior to, and rather than, starting at one end.  We've been making our rakes the same way for years, and have not heard of any issues with warping, but will also bring this up to QC, so more emphasis will be put on checking for any issues.

Reviewer: Lothar Bernhard from S. Chesterfield , VA United States
I'm using it for a dethatching rake and it does a very nice job. I have not purchased anything from this company that has been under built. Proudly made in the U.S.A. and it shows.
