Hi, I'm Ted from Everything Attachments, and we're here today to show you what a quick-attach is for the front end of your loader. If you weren't lucky enough to get this with your tractor, you can still get it, that's the good thing. So what you'll have is four pins right here, that go directly on to your bucket, and we all know that's not fun to change, and there's so many attachments like pallet forks, scrapple buckets, and things for these common tractors that make your tractor just so much more useful.
So once you get a quick attach, you'll find that you use it a lot more often changing implements. It's as simple as pushing two levers down to attach to your bucket once you're through with the process. And what you're going to need to do this, you're going to need to buy your quick-attach plate from us, and then we're gonna sell you a plate that welds to your bucket.
So, you're gonna take your bucket, and here's how you save a lot of money. If you're not the one that has a cutting torch and a welder, and you're gonna take it to a machine shop, if you bring your tractor in and say will you fix this? Then they're gonna have to do all this measurement, and you're gonna pay about an hour for them just figuring out where to mount this plate. If you do what little bit of work I'm gonna show you here, and have a chalk line on your bucket of where you want this welded, then all the welding shop has to do is simply cut off your brackets and weld it where you showed him. So you're gonna save yourself a lot of money.
So they're gonna take a cutting torch, cut the ears off of your bucket that would have your four pin holes in it. Then you're gonna have a smooth bucket. It's gonna be either flat on some angle. So what you wanna do is match the angle of the back of your bucket with your new quick-attach. Then measure how high up this is, this is 18 inches. So I want my loader bucket to go approximately two inches below grade. So I want the top of my quick-attach plate that I'm gonna weld to my bucket to be at 20 inches. Which is gonna be about right here where the quick-attach is on this particular bucket.
So I'm gonna mark my line, make sure it's level, and then have it ready for the machine shop to know where to put it to save myself money, or this is how you'll do it yourself.
Once you remove your ears, you're gonna butt this up to the back of your bucket, weld it on, and once that's welded on, then you're just simply ready to hook on with these two levers. It takes a machine shop, usually, if you mark the lines and all, an hour or less to do this process. If you're doing it yourself, it's quick and easy. But the main thing is getting it level and getting the height of it right so your bucket will have the proper digging depth.
