W R Long Open Bottom Grapple 2

The Open Bottom Grapple 2, OBG-2 is for Compact Tractor Loaders & Light Duty Skid Steers with lift capacities from 800 up to 2,200 pounds and comes in widths from 48 inches to 72 inches. Ideal for tree service, scrap, recyclable materials, trash, etc.

Light weight and strong
Heat treated bushings with stress proof pins
Open bottom grapple teeth are made out of high carbon steel
Grapple tines open to 44 inches
The 48" OBG-2 has a single lid, all others have dual lids.
Optional teeth are available
Additional rails on bottom available for smaller materials
Comes with hoses and 1/2" AG couplers

The lead time for the grapple I wanted (the wicked grapple) was 4 months so I got the W.R. Long. It's what I expected but not really what I wanted.

Staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with helping me pick the right grapple rake for my tractor. I have an older style Kubota with a pin on bucket. After receiving everything I was able to install the new grapple and hydraulics with hoses and switch for the diverter valve in about 2 hours there was no problems whatsoever. It is amazing how useful and how quickly I get jobs done now.

from the initial contact with rick at E/A to the one on one phone calls with the men at W R Long this has been one of the best sales experiences ever. My "pin on" grapple was custom built to fit my tractor loader arms - very heavy duty with Zircs at all rotating pins and protection plates over the cylinders i look forward to years of service from this great piece of equipment.
