1 of 5 SHAFT CAME OUT OF BEARING FIRST TIME USING IT. September 19, 2025

Shaft came out of the bearings & the packer wheels & shaft went down a hill & almost struck a person.Had to dig shaft & packer wheels out of the woods & load up on the trailer to take it to my shop for repair. I had seeded & federalize & spent over 1,000 on this plot of land I was working. Worked 7 hr on Sat to fix it (4 set screws were not tight & let the shaft slide out of the 2 bearings).Called Ted on Mon, after our talk & him hanging up on me & me calling back I had to pay 362.18 for parts for ME to repair the Cultipacker on top of the 3858.81 for it NEW.So I'm 4220.99 deep with this thing not counting my time & trouble to repair it. NOW I've gotta rework this thing AGAIN!!!!! So to say I'm happy with this piece of equipment is a BIG NO!!!!! Ted never offered to help with any of the cost. I am still looking at another messed up Saturday fixing Teds equipment. My time is worth money! In the end I will have OVER 5000 in this thing.KNOWING THIS I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED THIS.

When I received and unpacked the cultipacker I was impressed with the quality of the construction materials, however 15 minutes after I put it in service the roller fell off of the frame.  After examining the unit I discovered that the set screws on the bearings had not been tightened at the factory. I was able with the help of two other individuals to repair the unit and tighten the set screws.  Please re examine your quality control procedures.  EA Response:  Sorry for the inconvenience.  With humans(or machines) involved, there's always room for error, even when you do your best to limit mistakes.  It is best to go over all nuts and bolts before using any attachment for the first time.  Thanks for the business.  I hope the cultipacker's performance in the future makes up for the missing 3 stars.

I’ve bought several pieces of equipment from EA in the last 3 years with the 96”  cultipacker being my latest. It performs as advertised. I’m very satisfied and it was a solid purchase on my part.

Utilized the cultipacker on a 10 acre field we're planting.  After harrowing, we ran the machine over the field and really made a nice seedbed.  The size and weight of the machine destroyed any clumped dirt and made a really smooth surface.  We look forward to using it on our smaller food plots this summer.  Great product!!

Works as advertised. Gets seed in good contact with soil and small furrows keep seed in place during rain and helps control runoff.
